1. I have registered my child, what does the fee include and is there anything else I need to get?The Season Fee includes a full uniform with jeysey, shorts and socks for U5 through U10, 2 jerseys(1 home, 1 away), shorts and socks for U11 and up, team and individual picture, end of season award(Trophy for the Fall), Developmental training for U7-U8, fields, insurance, administrative costs and referees for U10 and older.
2. Is there anything else I need to get for my child?Your child will need shoes, Shinguards(mandatory) and a ball. There are 3 ball sizes, size 3 for U5 through U8, Size 4 for U9 through U12 and Size 5 for U13 and older.
3. When will I hear anything? The season starts the Saturday after Labor Day for Under 11 and older, and the following Saturday for U5 through U10. Practices usually start a couple of week beforehand. The coaches meetings occur before players are notified and publicized on the website calendar. That is where the coaches gets their rosters. Once coaches have their rosters, you will hear from them about your child's placement and first practice.
4. How long does the season last?We schedule 8 games per team and run an 8 week season for teams in even numbered brackets with no bye week-ends(week-end without a game) and a 9 to 10 week season for teams in odd numbered brackets(bye week-ends depending on how many teams are in the bracket)
5. Refund policy? If you request it before team formation has started, you will get a full refund. Team formation starts after August 1st. Once team formation has started, you will be refunded your registration fee minus 25$. Once a child has received a uniform, there are no more refunds.
6. Is there a mandatory fundraiser? In the Fall, CCUnited runs a mandatory fundraiser. Products may vary.
7. My child is very small and I would like her to play with a younger friend. The only way these two children can play together is if the younger child plays up to the older child's age group. Playing down an age group is against USYS rules. The only exception to that rules is made for children with disabilities and only after they have gone through the administrative process and been approved. If you think your child qualifies, please remember the administrative approval process takes a few weeks so inquire early!
8. I have questions not listed on here? Please email me your questions at admin@ccunited.com and I will keep adding questions and answers to the FAQ list, thank you!
