CC United - Success and Excellence
“There are many people, particularly in sports, who think that success and excellence are the same thing and they are not the same thing. Excellence is something that is lasting and dependable and largely within a person’s control. In contrast, success is perishable and is often outside our control... If you strive for excellence, you will probably be successful eventually... people who put excellence in first place have the patience to end up with success... An additional burden for the victim of the success mentality is that he/she is threatened by the success of others and resents real excellence. In contrast, the person fascinated by quality is excited when he/she sees it in others.”
Our comprehensive selection of soccer programs includes programs for players ages 4 and up at any skill level. Our expanded training staff includes top trainers from the Lonestar Soccer Club. In addition, we continuously improv our programs and facilities to offer players at every level the best soccer programs available. CC United U5-U18 Recreational Program
CC United offers a full soccer program for players in the Cedar Park, Leander, Williamson County, and northwest Austin area. This includes recreational leagues, the availability of practice facilities at area schools and parks, professional training assistance for coaches and teams, game fields, referees and the league administration. In addition, participation trophies are provided at the conclusion of each season. The recreational program is an excellent forum for youth to learn responsibility, teamwork and develop individual skills. Recreational games are predominantly played on Saturdays at Milburn Park. Registration is held in August and February for the fall and spring seasons.
Lonestar Soccer Club U11-U18 Select Program
CCUnited has partnered with Lonestar Soccer Club to provide our Select soccer program. The Lonestar Soccer Club Select program offers the opportunity for players to compete against competitors from Soccer Clubs in the central Texas area. Most of these clubs are located in Austin or San Antonio. Select tryouts and registration are held in mid May, with specific tryout night information at the Lonestar Soccer Club website http://www.lonestar-sc.com/index.php
CC United Soccer Academy
The CC United Soccer Academy offers professional skills training to girl and boy players age U9 and U10 who want to advance their soccer skills. This is an excellent opportunity to hone skills that will be an asset in the U11 select levels of play. As part of the CC United Soccer Academy, there are scrimmages, matches, and tournaments each season. The soccer academy is a key part of the overall CC United program. It offers the next level of training to the players who desire to accelerate their development.
CC United Adult League
There are also adult co-ed and men’s teams who also play in the Cedar Park area. These are coordinated on a more informal basis, using CC United facilities, referees, and administration. The adult leagues, which also play on weekends, are a fantastic venue for outdoor exercise regardless of playing ability, past soccer training, or lack of training.
